we are not just looking for techies. We are looking for game
changers. Those building smart, sustainable, and scalable
solutions to solve the most pressing challenges faced by
Uganda’s smallholder farmers; from farm to market.
We are looking for; young Agritech Innovators using
technology to transform farming or ambitious Agribusiness
Entrepreneurs tackling gaps in the food system. This year’s
competition offers a record prize pool of
UGX 222,000,000.

Amidst fierce competition and an unyielding drive for excellence in the 2025 season, Etyang Aaron emerged as one of the standout finalists. His groundbreaking Agri-tech innovation wowed the judges and earned him UGX 50,000,000 in prize funding, a powerful boost to propel his startup to the next level.

2025 AYuTe Uganda Champions

In 2025, more than 300 entries poured in from across Uganda, including 83 groundbreaking female-led innovations that continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible.
